ScalePlay is a generative music application capable of producing intricate ostinatos and sequences by applying complex scale patterns to user-defined songforms and chord changes. The application uses songs as a metaphor to categorize various scale types within a harmonic context. By associating chords with specific scales, ScalePlay allows users to superimpose patterns on existing pieces and practice improvisation effectively.
